Warehouse Order Handler

• Sort purchase, work and repair orders of incoming freight and move to receiving tables.
• Open incoming containers and match attached paperwork to parts.
• Inspect for visual damage and move freight to designated location.
• Open work orders for incoming shop service work.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Properly validate content and weigh all outbound shipments.
• Sort and stack outbound packages in proper staging areas for carrier pick up.
• Verify shipment documentations matches carrier as well as P/N and S/N of units being shipped.
• Perform general housekeeping to ensure a neat and organized work area.
• Maintain 5S compliance.

Skills: Inventory, shipping and receiving, material handling, RF scanner, data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Education: High school graduate or general education degree (GED) required.

Experience: 1 year+ of experience.

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of corridor and shipping software. Microsoft Office Suite is a plus!

Other Requirements: Working knowledge of hand tools, material handling and packaging equipment.

Experience Level: Entry level.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
