Note: This is an onsite position based in Jackson, MS, and requires a score of "Test Recommended" on the Edison Electric Institute's Secretarial/Administrative Selection System test. If you have achieved this, please note it on your resume.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for inputting departmental invoicing into accounts payable systems.
• Maintain accuracy of all crew employees' time entry, vacation and illness activity.
• Generate reports, spreadsheets, and monthly mileage reports.
• Manage office supplies, reconcile corporate purchasing cards and set up meetings.
• Assist in all safety activities.
• Assist in Ticket Management for locate tickets.
• Make and receive calls from 811 systems and Excavators.
• Assist in all locate administrative activities

Minimum Requirements

Minimum education required of the position.

High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Desired: college or university degree.

Minimum experience required of the position.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Entergy Corporate applications (DSS, DIS, Indus, Earl, Pearl, VEA, ECOS, Service Suite, AM/FM DFM & Time and Labor. Must be familiar with CCS. Familiar with all company policies and procedures. Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral with internal and external customers. Willing to work extended hours as needed. Self-starter with high initiative, willingness to learn new processes. Excellent multitasking and team working capability a must.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position.

Must be willing to assume a storm restoration role and travel if necessary.

Any certificates, licenses, etc. are required for the position.

Successful completion of the EEI CAB/SASS test.
