Senior Roadway Design Engineer

Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Roadway Design Engineer located in Atlanta, GA. The Senior Roadway Design Engineer will be responsible for leading roadway design projects, creating and reviewing design plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers. The individual will also oversee the utilization of computer-aided design (CAD) tools and ensure the successful delivery of projects within established timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design projects from conception to completion.
• Create and review design plans to meet project requirements and standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
• Oversee the use of computer-aided design (CAD) tools and associated workflows.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong design engineering skills and proficiency in product design
• Experience in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
• Ability to lead and manage projects from inception to completion
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
