What You'll Do
• Design and develop scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration of large data sets
• Build and optimize data architectures and lakehouse/data warehouse solutions on Azure, GCP, or AWS
• Implement and manage cloud-based ETL/ELT workflows using services such as Azure Data Factory or GCP Dataflow
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity through testing, validation, and monitoring
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance
• Automate data workflows and infrastructure using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues
What You'll Bring
• BS Degree and 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in a professional setting
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
• Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Postgres
• Proficiency with data build tool (dbt)

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the pay range is $55/HR to $85/HR. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
