Position Overview:

As a Senior Radiology Technologist, you will provide high-quality imaging procedures in a respectful and efficient manner, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our patients. Your role will be vital in assisting our medical staff and providing advanced imaging services that enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Utilize C-arm and other imaging equipment effectively.
• Confirm patient identification and physician orders to guarantee accurate study requests.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, particularly in regard to pregnancy risks.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols including ALARA, IMAGE GENTLY, and IMAGE WISELY principles.
• Collaborate with radiology management to maintain up-to-date protocols.
• Assist with pain procedures under fluoroscopy as needed.
• Foster teamwork by supporting cross-training of staff and providing leadership in challenging situations.
• Ensure all imaging requests from physicians and patients are fulfilled efficiently.

Position Requirements:

• Radiologic Technology diploma or degree from an accredited institution.
• Must meet continuing education requirements and obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience preferred; training opportunities available.
• In-depth knowledge of C-arm and x-ray equipment; willing to learn specific institutional processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
