Senior Quality Engineer

Newly Created opportunity for a senior quality Engineer to support new Product Development!
Your Role:
• Responsible for the application of customer and Company quality requirements including updating procedures, work instructions, and forms and interpreting applicable aspects of customer specifications.
• Design and refine methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
• Serve as a resource to supervisors, engineers, operations, and the Quality Team for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
• Educate employees on Company quality policy, including creating materials and delivering training.
• Lead and manage a team of 3 Quality Engineers
• Lead and participate in internal, external, customer, and regulatory quality audits.
• Investigate customer returns including root cause determination and corrective action implementation. This includes direct customer contact through conference calls and on-site visits.
What you'll bring:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field required
• American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) OR the willingness to obtain certification within a year of hire date. Six Sigma Black Belt a plus.
• 10+ years' experience in a Quality Engineering role, or a steady progression in Quality to Quality Engineering position
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, AS 9100, or ISO 13485 standards
• Medical Device experience a big plus
