Senior Project Manager - Data Center Construction

Overview

We are partnering with a nationally recognized general contractor renowned for delivering complex, large-scale construction projects across the U.S. Our client is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of a hyperscale data center in the DFW area. This is a high-impact leadership role within a fast-paced, technically demanding environment, offering the opportunity to work on one of the most significant data infrastructure builds in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Execution
  • Lead all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Manage project teams including superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Ensure alignment with client expectations and contractual obligations.
• Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, design teams, and internal leadership.
  • Facilitate regular progress meetings and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, trades, and local authorities.
• Financial Oversight
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control strategies.
  • Oversee procurement and contract administration.
  • Ensure timely billing and cash flow management.
• Schedule & Quality Control
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules.
  • Implement quality assurance and control procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation on-site.
• Safety & Compliance
  • Champion a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience, with at least 5 years in mission-critical or data center projects .
• Proven track record delivering hyperscale or large-scale data infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems , commissioning processes, and high-performance building standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam , and other construction management tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
