Position Description:
CGI is actively seeking a Senior Momentum Developer to support a migration of Momentum 7.8 to Momentum 8.3. As a Momentum Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Momentum applications, creating custom modules, and integrating Momentum with other systems. You will work closely with our development team to design, develop, test, and deploy Momentum solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Fairfax, VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Support gap analysis efforts, update custom code to support the 8x Momentum software, developing and maintaining both new and existing application interfaces. Whether you're troubleshooting a software defect, enhancing an existing application or developing a new solution, you should be able to dig into frameworks and libraries to deliver coherent solutions in line with the overall architecture of the Momentum suite. The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site agile team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective communication skills.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Momentum experience
- Experience with Java, C++
- Experience with webMethods
- Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and other open-source tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with APIs
- Strong experience with SQL
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
- Knowledge of Momentum 8x
- Experience working under Agile methodology
- HTML, Javascript, JQuery
- Experience with JIRA or Azure Dev Ops
- Familiarity with SOAP/REST
- Oracle SQL
- Experience with developing Ansible plays and roles

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $173,500.00.
