Joining our Financial Products & Services (FPS) team means being part of a dynamic group that designs and manages Target's financial offerings, including the Target Circle Card, Gift Cards, and Payment solutions. Your work will help establish Target as a go-to destination for accessible and sensible financial solutions.

As a Senior Manager in Compliance Consulting, you will play a crucial role in delivering regulatory guidance across FPS business areas regarding federal, state, and local laws relevant to our financial products, including the Target Circle Card. You will navigate regulations such as Reg Z, UDAAP, Reg B, FDCPA, and state debt collection laws, ensuring that our compliance efforts meet industry standards while protecting the company from litigation and reputational risks.

Your sharp analytical skills and comprehensive understanding of Target's financial product processes will empower you to provide actionable insights to your partners. You will collaborate closely with teams on new financial product initiatives, compliance monitoring, control building, and remediation efforts when necessary. Developing a robust compliance program that aligns with the expectations of Target's issuing bank and federal regulators will be a part of your responsibilities.

You will also lend your expertise during regulatory audits and examinations and maintain strong partnerships with Target's banking partners. Keeping Target leaders informed of significant regulatory matters will be essential, along with prompt action to mitigate potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep senior leadership well-informed on compliance matters.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 6 years of experience in regulatory compliance needed.
• Exceptional critical thinking, partnership, and communication skills distinctive.
• Ability to manage complex projects independently and effectively.
• Experience in consumer banking regulations is preferred.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree is preferred.

This position operates on a Hybrid/Flex work arrangement, requiring a combination of onsite presence at the Target HQ, MN, and virtual collaboration as needed by tasks and team dynamics. Note that work cannot be conducted outside of the primary location's country unless otherwise specified by Target.
