Senior Java Developer With AWS (On Site)

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be a proxy between client and offshore. You will be a valued member in Cognizant's team and work collaboratively with Banking and financial stakeholders.

In this role you will:

• Design Enterprise Solution using Java, JEE, Spring Boot and related Java Technology stack
• Work on Design Patterns
• Work on developing highly scalable enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using Microservices.
• Work on Java Spring Boot implementations
• Work on DevOps
• Work on AWS
• Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL
• Work on implementation of Industry Standard protocols related API Security including OAuth.
• Constantly communicate with client

Work model: On Site Location: McLean, VA

What you need to have to be considered:

• 8+ years of IT experience in implementing Java 8, J2EE and related Java technologies
• Expertise in Java 8, Multithreading, Microservices
• Hands on experience on AWS
• Hands on experience on DevOps
• Gained experience in Design Patterns.
• Experience in implementing Java Spring Boot
• Proficiency in Advanced SQL
• Good exposure and progressive experience working on AWS Cloud and integrations
• Strong hands on experience on Spring core and Spring JPA
• Experienced in using GIT and Maven
• Good with CI/CD - Jenkins

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 10/06/2025. The annual salary for this position is between $68K $125K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
