DSP Software Engineer

Key Role:

Specialize in tools, techniques, systems, and procedures for developing software, firmware, or analytic tools for wired or wireless transmission of signaling data. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with signal processing, digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms, or software development
• 3+ years of experience with firmware development languages or frameworks, including Verilog, VHDL, and CoreFire
• Experience with RF testing
• Experience with software development languages, including Python, C, or C++
• Experience using Agile processes and tools, including Jira or Confluence
• Ability to work in a team environment to brainstorm and innovate new ideas
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Electrical Engineering field

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with RF engineering
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as Tensorflow, Keras, or PyTorch
• Experience using version control, including GitHub
• Experience using Linux systems

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
