Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in D.C. family court proceedings from initiation through resolution.
• Develop case strategies involving divorce, asset division, and child custody disputes.
• Lead litigation and demonstrate trial advocacy in complex family law matters.
• Draft, review, and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs.
• Mentor and guide legal support staff and junior attorneys.
• Maintain well-organized, confidential case files and strong client communication.
• Leverage technology and case management tools to streamline operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of litigation experience in Family Law.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the District of Columbia.
• Proven trial advocacy and courtroom litigation skills.
• Strong writing, research, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with legal tech platforms such as G-Suite, Google Drive, and preferably MyCase.
