Senior Environmental Engineer

Overview

We\'re partnering with a well-established environmental consulting firm in Houston that is looking to bring on a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead and grow their remediation and compliance practice. This is a high-impact role with a strong mix of technical leadership, client engagement, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead environmental remediation projects from investigation through design and implementation.
• Provide technical oversight on solid waste management, permitting, and compliance programs.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to strategic growth.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.

Ideal Candidate Profile / Qualifications

• 5-15 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on remediation, solid waste, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and interface with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations (e.g., RCRA, CERCLA, TCEQ).
• Experience in business development or client-facing roles is a plus.
• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred but not required.

Base pay range: $100,000/yr - $200,000/yr
