Senior Cloud Engineer

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in Crane, IN . This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  Lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based software solutions for NSWC Crane

  n

• n

  Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and work with talented software developers and engineers to create sophisticated cloud applications that integrate with DoD systems and technologies

  n

• n

  Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams, conduct security and compliance audits of cloud systems, and stay informed about emerging trends and technologies

  n
n
• n

  Work with a team of other cloud engineers to complete duties and responsibilities

  n
n

Minimum Qualifications:

n
• n

  High School Diploma or Equivalent

  n
n
• n

  7+ years of related IT experience

  n
n
• n

  3+ years in tandem of full-time professional experience establishing and administering enterprise solutions within Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure Cloud services

  n
n
• n

  Working knowledge of AWS and Azure services including EC2, ELB, Auto-Scaling, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Lambda, Elastic Cache, Cloud Formation

  n

• n

  Must be able to obtain and maintain one of the following: CISSP, CASP, or equivalent DoD IAT-3 certification within 1 month from accepting offer and prior to onboarding

  n

Preferred Qualifications:

• n

  Experience in advanced application and mastery of IS, plans, and functions, including Experience in advanced application and mastery of IS, plans, and functions, including DevSecOps

  n

• n

  Hands-on experience with Terraform, CDK, and Ansible automation tools

  n
n

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security Clearance.

  The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
