Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 + years of experience in accounts payable, with expertise in month-end close processes, including posting to the general ledger, preparing aging reports, and performing reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Process accruals on a monthly basis.
• Reconcile aged invoices and purchase orders, working with the supervisor to write off items as needed.
• Handle pre-paid and discount vendor transactions.
• Execute the 3-way match process through EDI, performing manual processing if EDI fails.
• Process approximately 300 invoices weekly.
• Conduct month-end close activities, including journal entries, postings to the general ledger, and preparation of aging reports.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP for data analysis.
• Support the supervisor and serve as a backup in the inventory versus expense side.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable.
• Proficiency in month-end close processes, including journal entries, posting to the general ledger, aging reports, and accruals.
• Experience with 3-way match
• Highly proficient Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with accruals

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.
