As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your customer service and communication skills will support a welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for routine patrols, access control, and responding to various situations as needed, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Work closely with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during assigned shifts.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and healthcare facility management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital-specific requirements, including vaccination requirements, ability to work in morgue settings, and ability to restrain individuals as needed.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
