As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a prestigious residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for residents and guests. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. DayTime Tue 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the residential community, verifying identification and credentials of residents, guests, and service personnel.
• Provide customer service by assisting residents and visitors with inquiries and directions as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as directed during emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
