Safety Coordinator - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is seeking a Safety Coordinator for a project in Lithia Springs, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and assist in the facilitation of the Environmental Health and Safety program at assigned job sites.
• Assist with the oversight of and administration of all functions of company, client, and Federal/State/Local regulatory environmental, health and safety requirements.
• Perform jobsite safety observations and inspections to identify hazards, potential risk, and non-compliance to safety requirements and actively participate in the abatement of those items.
• Communicate results of observations and inspections with the NGP EHS Manager, internal company management and client representatives as required.
• Assist with the facilitation of EHS Training programs for all levels of employees.
• Assist with incident investigations for work site incidents and injuries, identification of root causes and development of corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
• Assist with the management of work site injuries and assist with injury case management as needed.
• Develop or assist with the development of safety plans for projects and tasks performed on jobsites.

Pay rate is up to $35/hour plus Per Diem: $125 / day for all 7 days. Schedule: Mon - Sat, 72h / week.

Qualifications:

• Pre-employment screenings
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 510
• A degree in Occupation Safety and Health or an equivalent is an added bonus.
