A healthcare organization in Washington DC is actively seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their radiation oncology team as their new Nurse Manager. In this role, the Nurse Manager will oversee adult and pediatric radiation oncology procedures, managing outpatient clinics, and coordinating inpatient care and flow, including anesthesia, peri-operative, and PACU services for radiation oncology patients.

Responsibilities:
The Nurse Manager - Radiation Oncology will:
- Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care in the assigned area
- Ensure adherence to Hospital policies and procedures, supporting the hospital's mission and vision
- Maintain responsibility for the quality of patient care and implement continuous performance improvement processes
- Oversee clinical practice, staff development, continuing education, management, and leadership
- Collaborate with administration, physicians, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure effective communication and quality patient care
- Provide consultation and support for problem resolution and process improvement
- 3+ years of Radiation Oncology experience
- DC Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory role
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Patient oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communications kills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Master's Degree in Nursing
