We are looking for a dedicated Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and managing stormwater, drinking water, and wastewater systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects adhere to environmental regulations and standards, with a focus on sustainability and community impact.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Design and manage water resource systems, including stormwater, drinking water, and wastewater projects.
Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models to assess water resources and predict the impact of various factors on water systems.
Conduct environmental impact assessments and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Collaborate with clients, other engineers, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.

EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in water resources, civil engineering, or environmental engineering, especially in the design of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, or SWMM.
Knowledge of FEMA guidelines and experience with floodplain delineation studies.
Strong project management skills and the ability to lead a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

LOCATION: Honolulu, HI

SALARY RANGE: $90,000 – $140,000 per year depending on experience
