Operations Manager
The position is titled Risk Services: Manager, Insurance Services and is classified as Position Grade 13.
The position requires compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement for employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas. If located at the UNM Children's Campus, the successful candidate must pass a comprehensive post-offer, pre-employment criminal and New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) fingerprint background check, and a continued successful status will be verified by periodic future background checks.
The minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience managing at least one of the following functional areas: fiscal services, administration, and/or human resources AND 3 years of additional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
The position is located at the Main campus in Albuquerque, NM in the Risk Services department. It is a staff position, regular full-time, and exempt. The pay range is $4,236.27 to $5,950.53 DOE.

The position requires a background check. For best consideration, applications must be submitted by 8/4/2025. This position may qualify for a hybrid schedule based on performance post probation/trial period. While on probation/trial period, the expectation is to be in the office and on-site Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
