Performing limited respiratory care support services under the supervision of another person who holds a certificate issued by the state of Texas.
The Respiratory Therapy Tech delivering the services does not perform an invasive procedure related to critical respiratory care, including a therapeutic, diagnostic, or palliative procedure, as part of the person's employment and if that person: is enrolled for credit in the clinical portion of an approved respiratory care education program; or has completed all of the clinical portion of an approved respiratory care education program within the preceding 12 months and is actively pursuing a course of study leading to graduation from the program.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in an approved Respiratory Care program.
- Current BLS certification.
