Job specification

Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate education programs for acute care nurses, including onboarding, ongoing competency training, and professional growth initiatives
Partner with clinical leaders to identify learning needs and create targeted education plans
Support evidence-based practice implementation and continuous quality improvement projects
Lead simulation-based training, skills labs, and clinical workshops to enhance nursing competence
Serve as a mentor and resource for staff, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and clinical excellence
Assist in policy and procedure development to meet current standards of care and regulatory requirements
Facilitate training on new equipment, technology, and protocols

Candidate requirements

Current Washington RN License
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree in Nursing or Education preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of recent acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting
Demonstrated experience in staff education, preceptorship, or clinical instruction
Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
