Position Overview
As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform high-quality imaging procedures while ensuring an exceptional experience for our patients and their families. You will work in a safe and clean environment focused on patient care.

Qualifications:

• Radiologic Technology diploma or degree from an accredited institution.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: At least one year of clinical experience, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• General knowledge of x-ray equipment and computers; specific training provided.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Verify patient identification and physician orders for accuracy.
2. Inquire about pregnancy in female patients (ages 12-50) and document appropriately.
3. Document allergies and medical history for patients receiving intravenous contrast.
4. Follow radiation safety protocols and ensure proper protection.
5. Maintain patient dignity by ensuring proper coverage during exams.
6. Proactively assist in other areas during downtime and efficiently manage time.
7. Check on patients waiting for exams to ensure comfort and manage pain.
8. Display leadership and teamwork in critical situations.
9. Be willing to cover overtime and extra shifts as needed.
10. Ensure safety while assisting patients from wheelchairs or stretchers to tables.
11. Consistently perform high-quality imaging studies.
12. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient equipment use and prompt service delivery.
