Baptist Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiology Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. We have both full-time and PRN opportunities available!

ABOUT BAPTIST URGENT CARE:
Baptist Urgent Care operates multiple locations and is affiliated with Urgent Team, a leading operator of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. Our walk-in centers provide a wide range of healthcare services including treatment for injuries, illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care.

Our centers are open seven days a week:

• Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

All Baptist Urgent Care centers are Accredited Care Centers, recognized for our commitment to safety, quality, and comprehensive services.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Radiology Technician will welcome patients, manage their files, and provide support to both patients and medical staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Greet patients promptly upon arrival and guide them through the check-in process.
• Communicate with patients about wait times and ensure they know the next steps in their treatment.
• Handle patient inquiries and provide solutions to problems while identifying emergencies.
• Follow up on lab and x-ray results in a timely manner.
• Document vital signs, medical history, and other necessary information accurately.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures performed under provider supervision.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain and verify that all radiology equipment is functioning properly.
• Follow necessary documentation procedures after patient visits.
• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Uphold infection control standards and patient confidentiality at all times.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other medical procedures as permitted.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
To qualify for this role, candidates must have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience.
• Valid State License to perform X-Rays.
• BLS Certification.
