Position Summary

As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging procedures to our patients and physicians while maintaining a respectful, safe, and clean environment. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our commitment to providing exemplary healthcare.

Position Requirements

• Formal Education: Radiologic Technology diploma or degree from an accredited institution, compliance with CE requirements.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience: Preference for at least one year of experience in a clinical setting; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates.
• Skills: Proficient knowledge of various x-ray equipment and computers; previous training in fluoroscopy, surgery, and routine studies is beneficial.

Physical Requirements

In this role, you will demonstrate the ability to perform multifaceted tasks such as operating equipment, assisting in patient movement, and adhering to safety protocols in a dynamic imaging department.

Performance Standards

1. Verify patient identification and physician orders to ensure accurate procedures.
2. Conduct thorough screenings for female patients of childbearing age regarding pregnancy and document appropriately.
3. Gather detailed patient histories to identify potential allergies, especially regarding intravenous contrast media.
4. Uphold radiation safety standards and practices, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
5. Maintain patient dignity and comfort throughout procedures.
6. Proactively assist in other areas during downtime and demonstrate effective teamwork.
7. Engage with patients waiting in the facility to ensure their comfort and manage any pain adequately.
8. Exhibit leadership and sound judgment in challenging situations.
9. Be available for overtime and additional shifts as needed.
10. Utilize safety procedures when assisting patients during transfers.
11. Consistently perform high-quality imaging studies.
12. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maximize resource efficiency and meet patient care demands.
