Position Summary: You will perform imaging procedures in a respectful, efficient, and safe manner to assist patients and physicians. This role is crucial to maintaining our standards of care and patient comfort.

Position Requirements:

• Radiologic Technology diploma or degree from an accredited institution; compliance with CE requirements
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
• Preference for at least one year of experience in a clinical setting; however, training is available
• Familiarity with various x-ray equipment and computers; will receive training on specific tools used at Williamson Health

This role also involves adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Verify patient identification and physician orders for accuracy
2. Assess female patients for pregnancy risks and document appropriately
3. Inquire about allergies and medical history for patients receiving contrast media
4. Implement radiation safety measures and adhere to ALARA principles
5. Ensure patients are treated with dignity and respect during their care
6. Demonstrate teamwork and leadership during challenging situations
7. Participate in additional duties during downtime to maintain efficiency
8. Provide high-quality imaging studies consistently
