Radiologic Technologist (RT), PRN, Baltimore Urgent Care

Overview

Radiologic Technologist (RT), PRN position supporting University of Maryland Urgent Care centers in Maryland. Centers operate 7 days a week from 8:00 am8:00 pm. The role involves providing quality patient-centric care, performing x-ray studies, and supporting medical assistant duties for UM Urgent Care patients. Staff are expected to be self-driven, comfortable with multitasking, and prepared to work in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Roving to all centers in the market is required.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Perform x-ray studies and prepare radiology suites and materials for imaging.
• Provide patient centric care, including greeting patients, registering in the EMR, and triage as needed (vital signs, symptom review, chief complaint).
• Assist providers with medical procedures, collect specimens, perform rapid laboratory tests, and administer related therapies (oxygen, nebulizer treatments) as appropriate.
• Maintain and inventory radiology and related supplies; ensure cleanliness and readiness of exam and procedure suites between patients.
• Manage administrative tasks such as emails and phone communications; support new associate training as requested.
• Roving to multiple centers within the market as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Graduation from an approved school/program required.
• BLS/CPR Certification required.
• Current state licensure as a radiologic technologist or a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist with all modifiers required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Range: $27.44-$39.29
