Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for night shifts requiring ARRT, BLS, and Maryland state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT unit with night shifts scheduled as 2x12s, either 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
• Six-week rotating schedule including weekends and possible holidays if scheduled
• No call required
• Travelers may be required to float within the hospital, within scope of experience
• Holiday coverage is required if a scheduled shift falls on a holiday
• Block scheduling or schedule restrictions cannot be requested
• Return travelers must be away for at least 6 months before returning to the system
• Former staff must not have worked at the facility within the last 12 months to be considered as a traveler
• Most locations allow for one contract extension, after which a six-month break is required
• Required modules must be completed prior to start
• RTO requests must be declared at initial submission and cannot be changed after offer
• Locals are not accepted if residing within 50 miles of the facility

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Maryland state license required; compact license accepted if applicable
• Minimum two satisfactory professional references, including one supervisor or manager
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for consideration
• Must be willing and able to float as needed within the hospital
• CPI certification may be required depending on unit
• License required if applicable
