Thriveworks is actively seeking dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to join our team.
***Please note: Clinicians must be licensed and reside in the state where they will practice.***
Compensation: This is a Fee-for-Service (W2) position, offering an annual salary range of $130,000-$187,000, based on 25-35 clinical hours per week.
At Thriveworks, we prioritize the safety and best practices for both our clinicians and clients through telemedicine. While we offer stimulant medications based on specific client diagnoses, we do not press or incentivize their use. We refer clients with severe substance use disorder symptoms to in-person providers.
As a Thriveworks Nurse Practitioner, you will cater to a diverse clientele with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more, primarily serving adults and adolescents, with plans to further broaden our age range.
Qualifications:
Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification required.
Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in Virginia is mandatory.
Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is beneficial.
Three years of experience is ideal; a minimum of 1 year in psychiatric practice is essential.
Must be state-licensed and residing in the state where practicing.
All new hires are required to undergo in-house training on our ADHD treatment standards, followed by a certification exam. New hires are also enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and expected to treat ADHD clients without any quotas.
What We Need:
Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients via telemedicine.
Ability to treat clients aged 14 and older.
Availability for at least 1 in-office day per week.
Ability to prescribe medication to alleviate mental health symptoms as necessary.
Develop and collaborate with clients on personalized care plans.
Complete necessary paperwork and utilize assessment tools for clients.
Adhere to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on client care and services.
