Project Estimator (Juno Beach)

Insight Global is looking for a Project Estimator to join their team. This person will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, review designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggest alternatives when appropriate, coordinate and interface on a regular basis with other departments to ensure communication and understanding of proposal/projects, objectives and the most efficient and productive utilization of resources, review layouts, designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate, remains current with technology and industry evolution in order to assure that project capital estimates anticipate the correct market conditions and establish, build and implement metrics for cost and construction estimates.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in the following Fields of Study preferred:
• Engineering Mechanical or Civil
• Construction Science
• Construction Management
• 3-5 years of Transmission experience in Estimating, Construction, or Engineering

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates, reviewing designs and specifications for cost effectiveness, and suggesting alternatives when appropriate.
• The Project Estimator will coordinate regularly with other departments to ensure clear communication and efficient resource utilization, stay current with industry technology and market conditions, and develop metrics for cost and construction estimates.

Compensation:

$50/hr to $60/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
