Drywall Project Manager/Estimator
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Drywall Project Manager/Estimator to oversee commercial and residential drywall projects from bidding through completion. This role combines estimating responsibilities with hands-on project management, requiring both technical expertise and strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate drywall estimates, including labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Analyze drawings, blueprints, and specifications to develop competitive bids.
• Manage awarded projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, suppliers, and inspectors.
• Oversee scheduling, change orders, RFIs, and progress billing.
• Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary project contact.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Track project costs, budgets, and profitability.
• Provide regular reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in drywall estimating and project management.
• Strong knowledge of drywall, framing, acoustical ceilings, and related scopes of work.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with On-Screen Takeoff or similar tools preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
