Project Controls Cost Engineer

Our client is seeking a Project Controls Cost Engineer to be responsible for managing and analyzing project costs to ensure completion within budget. As a Project Controls Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining project budgets aligned with objectives and constraints. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Greenville, SC

Pay Rate: Pay is up to $55/hour w2 (Will be dependent on experience level)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cost forecasting and identify potential overruns.
• Monitor and control project costs; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Generate cost reports including:
• Earned value analysis
• Cost performance index
• Budget variance reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
• 35 years in project cost engineering or cost control.
• Industry experience in heavy industrial, utility, construction, or engineering.
