Program Coordinator

This role supports the Foundational Community Supports program, a statewide program offering eligible Medicaid enrollees supportive housing and supportive employment services.

Location: Seattle, Washington

Hybrid 1: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the accurate, timely maintenance of the Foundational Community Supports data, authorizations, and database.

How you will make an impact:

  • Collects, validates, reconciles and reports data; prepares periodic data submissions for contractual/regulatory reporting; communicates and coordinates with internal and external clients to ensure data integrity.
  • May coordinate meeting schedules, agendas, materials and document minutes for meetings with internal and external clients.
  • Participate in process improvement and database development projects.
  • Implement database changes to meet external technical specifications.
  • Train and monitor multiple end-users nationally in database application.
  • Prepare documentation for and participate in accreditation/regulatory audits.
  • Write and update procedure manuals and process workflows.
  • Assist Director/Manager to compare data results and identify data trends.
  • Develop and produce periodic and ad hoc management reports related to multiple and varied operational metrics upon request.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field, 2-3 years of health care industry experience in web-based and/or Access database structures, standard queries and reporting, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Experience in Utilization Management preferred.
  • Experience in authorization for services including sending authorization and denial letters preferred.
  • Provider Change Request (PCR) experience preferred.
  • Exception to Rule request experience preferred.
  • Experience managing inbox and working phone queue preferred.
  • Experience in external referral intake and assignment preferred.
  • Reconnection research experience preferred.
  • Experience with outcome and capacity reports preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Experienced in interfacing with providers preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $28.97 to $43.46.

Location: Washington State.
