Production Team Partner - Soiled Linen Sorter

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family. As a Team Partner in the Production Department, you will be working as a team to ensure all soiled items are accounted for to get properly laundered. At UniFirst we have a 4-day work week, enjoy Saturday-Monday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

Pay & Benefits: On the job training & great hourly pay, Paid Time Off/Sick Days/Holidays, Direct Payroll Deposit, 30% Employee Discount, Employee Referral Bonuses. Compensation: $18.45/hr minimum.

What you'll be doing:

• Count soiled wipers, cloths, aprons, towels, etc. coming back from customer stops
• Ensure all soiled items are accounted for to get properly laundered, folded, and returned to the customer
• Report processes accurately
• Maintain a clean work area
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management

Qualifications

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance
