We are seeking a dedicated Production Line Operator responsible for conducting production activities needed to manufacture conductive materials such as metal-plated fibers or coated non-woven materials. This role demands a meticulous approach to safety and precision while handling both large and small volume chemical transfers, preparing chemical solutions, inspecting raw materials, and testing in-process and finished materials. Responsibilities include conducting large and small volume chemical transfers, preparing chemical solutions and inspecting raw materials, testing in-process and finished materials, labeling and packaging finished goods, handling hazardous materials, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, participating in environmental health and safety programs, working with production and maintenance teams to optimize operational efficiency, and assisting in training new operators in accordance with facility practices.

Essential skills include manufacturing or chemical handling experience, attention to detail, safety consciousness, ability to use a respirator, and ability to work independently. Additional skills and qualifications include at least 6 months to a year of manufacturing or chemical handling experience, US citizenship, high school diploma or GED, effective communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions, enthusiasm and initiative to develop and maintain robust, repeatable, and safe manufacturing processes, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory agencies.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Schenectady, New York. The pay range for this position is $21.00/hr.
