Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational efficiency of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Brewster, NY

Pay Range: $25

Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00am-2:30pm

What's the Job?

• Perform various functions for the Maintenance team, such as disposing of cardboard, wood, plastic, plastic banding, trash, and pallets along established floor routes, ensuring proper disposal in designated containers.
• Safely operate sit-down and stand-up floor sweepers and use a two-way radio for team communication.
• Clean up spills and leaks in accordance with EHS (safety) protocols and standards as necessary.
• Execute project tasks as assigned and maintain general housekeeping throughout the facility.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, under the guidance of senior technicians.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to receive training on (non-PIV) sweeper equipment.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
