What You'll Bring Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

The Opportunity Under direct supervision of Produce Manager, the Produce Clerk provides customer service. Assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the perishable (produce) displays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
