Job Title: PPM Carpenter-- Spruce Pine, NC

Job Summary: MOR PPM Inc. seeks Carpenters for a project in Spruce Pine, NC. Must have proper knowledge and experience in operating hand and power tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cut, fabricate and install Industrial buildings and other structures according to specifications
• Job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructures and products
• A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail
• Measure, layout, and build structures from the ground up.
• Ideal candidates will also have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials and masonry work
• Being able to work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential.

Experience: 5 years' experience with working in a carpentry role.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Use effective verbal and written communication skills. Add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and fractions rapidly and accurately.
• Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility.

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
• Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
