Podiatric Medicine Physician

We are seeking a licensed Podiatrist for a 24-day locum tenens assignment throughout Georgia, starting Oct 20, 2025. This role offers a flexible Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30AM to 4PM, with a minimum of six days per month. The assignment focuses on routine and specialized foot care in assisted living and nursing home settings, ideal for professionals experienced with elderly patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform routine nail maintenance, including trimming, in-grown nail treatment, and nail infection management
• Provide diabetic foot care, addressing foot-related diabetes symptoms such as diabetic ulcers and neuropathy
• Treat additional foot conditions, including corns, calluses, wounds, and other injuries
• Deliver care primarily to elderly patients in assisted living and nursing home environments
• No prescribing required

Additional Information

• Must hold a current Georgia license
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• At least one year of residency completed is preferred
• Experience working with elderly patients strongly desired
• Familiarity with Nextgen EMR system is beneficial
