Our convenient walk-in centers deliver a variety of healthcare services, including treatment for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. We are open seven days a week, ensuring our communities have access to quality healthcare:

• Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All Physicians Care centers are Accredited Care Centers, a designation recognizing our commitment to safety, quality, and comprehensive scope of services.

Job Summary:
As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential clinical care to our patients in line with your medical training. PRN (per diem) team members will be scheduled on an as-needed basis, offering flexibility in your work hours.

Key Responsibilities:
The following duties illustrate the expectations for this position. Additional responsibilities may be assigned:

• Greet patients promptly as they enter the waiting area, exam room, or lab.
• Communicate wait times effectively and direct patients through the treatment process.
• Address patient concerns and seek assistance in emergency situations.
• Make timely follow-up calls to patients.
• Assist front desk staff with patient check-in/out as needed.
• Accurately document patient vital signs, weight, and medical histories.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Follow established documentation procedures to complete all required patient visit documentation.

What You Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- BLS Certification
