Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in the fulfillment and distribution of prescription medications. You will utilize fulfillment systems to ensure accurate and efficient service, contributing to a transformative pharmacy model that leverages automation to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill and distribute prescription medications using automated fulfillment systems.

• Enter patient demographics and prescription data accurately into processing systems.

• Resolve claim rejects and insurance billing issues effectively.

• Escalate prescription-related questions to pharmacists for interpretation.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients and physicians professionally.

• Operate automated machinery to sort, count, label, pack, and ship prescriptions.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with machine upkeep.

• Identify and communicate issues to senior staff as needed.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and quality control standards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification

• Experience in prescription fulfillment, including counting, labeling, packing, and shipping medications using automated systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
