As a Surgical Technologist/L.P.N. in the Operating Room, you will play a vital role in our surgical team, preparing and maintaining sterile and unsterile supplies for various cases. You'll work collaboratively to ensure quality care is provided to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in the Operating Room.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from the O.R.
• Prepare necessary equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Participate actively in the implementation of patient care plans as part of a team.
• Demonstrate proficiency with operating room procedures and equipment.
• Take responsibility for your professional growth and actively participate in unit meetings and training.
• Support the efficient operation of the department while minimizing errors and optimizing time management.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality consistently.
• Recognize and respect the unique needs of patients at all stages of life.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: High school diploma required; completion of a certified technician program preferred or active LPN license with operating room experience.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of current operating room experience is preferred, demonstrating competent practice in assigned services.

LICENSURE: National Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Advanced scrub assistant skills, motivation, and self-direction in performing duties.

PHYSICAL DEMAND: Potential exposure to infectious diseases, hazardous waste, and radiation.
