Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Comprehensive Echocardiograms: Perform complete studies including M-Mode, Real-Time, Color Flow Mapping, and Doppler. Ensure quality images and measurements according to lab protocols.
2. Documentation: Review patient information and previous echo exams, document conclusions, and complete billing information in the electronic medical records.
3. Contribute Knowledge: Provide preliminary interpretations for physician review and communicate any unusual findings.
4. Records Management: Safeguard examination records and ensure all studies are properly saved to the GE server.
5. Embrace Technology: Utilize various software and systems, including Epic and GE reading stations, to enhance work efficiency.
6. Promote Safety: Develop and maintain a 'Culture of Safety' through personal accountability and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of a two-year accredited Echocardiography program culminating in an associate degree or higher.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years preferred.
• Certifications: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer).
• Skills: Current BLS certification, competency in echocardiography, ability to recognize abnormalities, adjust techniques when necessary, and operate ancillary devices.
