Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment, requiring at least 1 year of recent vascular ultrasound experience and RVT or RVS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a dedicated vascular lab within a radiology department
• Lab equipped with GE E10 ultrasound units, Parks PVR units, and treadmills
• Clinician-to-patient ratio is 1:1 with a diverse patient population
• Primary procedures include vascular ultrasound, abdominal vasculature studies, aorta and renal artery exams
• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with shared on-call coverage until 8:00 PM
• No floating required
• Uses Epic EMR and Visage PACS systems
• Primary responsibilities include performing vascular ultrasound and supporting exams of the aorta, renal arteries, and abdominal vasculature
• Position operates within a small team utilizing modern diagnostic equipment
• Epic charting experience preferred
• All time off requests must be submitted with application
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to be considered local; local rate applies
• Parking is not validated at Boston locations; candidates are responsible for parking costs
• Scrubs or dress code information not specified

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent vascular ultrasound experience required
• RVT or RVS certification required (AHA only)
• Active MA licensure required at time of consideration; no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccine series approved by FDA or WHO required
• Flu vaccine required during season; no medical or religious exemptions accepted
• 2 professional references required
• License required if applicable
