Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience and current AHA BLS certification for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient vein practice specializing in vascular diagnostics
• Procedures include upper and lower extremity venous duplex, venous reflux, carotid artery duplex, ABI/PVR physiologic exams, and abdominal/pelvic venous assessments
• Follows IAC vascular testing protocols and assists with accreditation processes
• EPIC is used for charting
• Day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Must adhere to protocols established by the medical and technical directors
• Will participate in annual and tri-annual IAC accreditation audits
• Expected to work independently in a specialized outpatient environment
• Permanent residence must be at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel rate
• Parking may incur additional costs; public transportation and public parking options are available

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• MA ultrasound technologist license required; conditional licenses not accepted—license required if applicable
• Ability to perform independent diagnostic vascular exams and troubleshoot technical issues
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
