Department: Pediatric Cardiology

Job Type: Temp (Three months)

Shift: Monday-Friday 8-4:30 or 8:30-5pm.

Salary: 50/HR

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer or Adult Sonographer . The ideal candidate will be experienced in performing high-quality ultrasound examinations on pediatric patients, including neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. You will play a critical role in delivering accurate diagnostic information while ensuring a safe, supportive, and child-friendly experience for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound exams specifically for pediatric patients, including abdominal, pelvic, cranial, vascular, and small parts imaging.

  Collaborate with pediatricians, radiologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate interpretation and diagnosis.

• n

  Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.

  n
n
• n

  Prepare and position patients appropriately while using age-appropriate communication and comfort techniques.

  n

• n

  Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and images in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

  n

• n

  Assist with sedation or distraction techniques when necessary in coordination with nursing and child life staff.

  n
n
• n

  Follow infection control protocols and ensure a safe imaging environment.

  n
n
• n

  Participate in continuing education to stay current with advances in pediatric sonography and best practices.

n

Qualifications:

n
• n

  Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.

• n

  Certification:

  n
n
• n

  Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by ARDMS, with Pediatric Sonography (PS) credential preferred or required.

  BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

  n

   Minimum 3 years of pediatric ultrasound experience preferred.

   Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a child-focused approach.

   Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $50.00 per hour
