Perform cardiac diagnostic sonographic examinations, to record pertinent anatomical, pathological and functional data on patients and prepare test data for interpretation by physicians.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

n
High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
n
n
Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular training program.
n
n
RCT registered or eligible preferred. BLS certification.
n
n
One year experience in all phases of echocardiography testing.
n
n
Telephone, copier, fax machine, computer, and printer operation.
n
n
Echocardiographic ultrasound machine, vascular ultrasound machine, PVR, various computer systems, PACS, wheelchairs, stretchers
n

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

n
Assume on-call as needed,
n
n
Strong basic medical knowledge, with emphasis on cardiac ultrasound and cardiology,
n
n
Good communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills,
n
n
Ability to work independently, capable of supervising and prioritizing in a fast paced environment.
n
n
Ability to participate intra- and inter-departmental activities and perform in a team environment.
n

Starting at $43.82 Hourly
