Are you a payroll tax expert with a passion for precision, compliance, and continuous improvement? We're seeking a dynamic Payroll Tax Compliance Specialist to join our fast-paced, high-impact team. If you thrive on solving complex tax puzzles, navigating multi-state regulations, and driving operational excellence-this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
- Lead payroll tax compliance for 2,700+ multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Own federal, state, and local payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and audits.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on wage and hour laws, FLSA, garnishments, and Regular Rate of Pay.
- Research and implement tax law changes, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing across all frequencies.
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, Accounting, Sales Compensation, and IT to optimize systems and workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement by refining procedures, enhancing controls, and mentoring team members.
- 5-7 years of payroll and multi-state tax experience (7-10 preferred).
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, IRS regulations, and payroll tax compliance.
- Expertise in ADP Workforce Now and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- CPP designation preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a drive for excellence.
