Key Responsibilities:
As a DSW Retail Associate, you will:
- Provide a warm and welcoming experience for every customer, responding to their needs with tailored service.
- Promote and enroll customers in the DSW Loyalty program.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and process transactions, whether in-store or through digital orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized shopping environment, ensuring safety and adherence to DSW standards.
- Receive merchandise, prepare items for the sales floor, execute markdowns, and manage stockroom organization.
- Use available tools to assist customers in product searches and fulfill their orders accurately.
- Handle customer transactions with care, ensuring accurate cash handling and service according to DSW policies.
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience Leader (CEL) to address customer service challenges.
- Participate actively in team meetings and training, displaying a commitment to personal and team development.
Required Skills:
- Availability to meet the business's needs.
- Friendly and customer-focused demeanor.
- Ability to move swiftly while delivering exceptional service.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable using technology for customer engagement (registers, mobile devices).
- Physical capability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed.
Experience:
- No prior retail experience is necessary; we welcome motivated individuals to apply.
The estimated pay range for this position is $14.50 to $15.50 per hour, based on experience and skills. This does not include potential benefits. Pay rates may vary due to location and other factors.
